Today, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-41) announced the Palm Springs International Airport is receiving an $8,612,700 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to upgrade its taxiways. The grant funding was awarded from the FAA’s Airport Improvement Program. Earlier this year, Rep. Calvert voted along with a bipartisan majority to approve the Fiscal Year 2024 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Bill, which provided funding for the Airport Improvement Program.
Today, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-41) announced that more than $9 million in federal funding for three water infrastructure projects in the 41st Congressional District was included at his request in the Fiscal Year 2025 Interior and Environment Appropriations bill. Rep. Calvert voted along with a majority of the House of Representatives to pass the bill last week. Funding included in the bill for local projects is allocated within their respective agency program accounts and does not raise the overall spending level of the bill.
