Rep. Calvert and Rep. Torres Introduce Legislation to Establish a ZIP Code for Eastvale

February 12, 2025

Today, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-41) reintroduced legislation, H.R. 1225, to establish a unique ZIP code for the City of Eastvale. Congresswoman Norma Torres (CA-35), who represents a portion of Eastvale, is a Co-Lead of the legislation.

“The lack of a unique ZIP code that properly identifies the City of Eastvale continues to negatively impact residents and businesses,” said Congressman Calvert. “For years, city leaders, residents, and the local business community have consistently expressed their desire for a distinct ZIP code to the United States Postal Service, which has refused to take this step. It shouldn’t take an Act of Congress for a government agency to do the right thing, which is why I’m happy to work with my colleagues, including Rep. Torres, to fight for a solution.”

"Eastvale residents and businesses have long struggled with the confusion and challenges of being split between two ZIP codes," said Congresswoman Torres. "This bill marks a major milestone in our efforts to secure a single, unique ZIP code for this fast-growing city. I’m excited to join Congressman Ken Calvert on this important initiative, and we’re more committed than ever to getting this bill passed in the House of Representatives. Together, we will ensure Eastvale finally receives the distinct ZIP code it needs and deserves."

"Eastvale has grown into a thriving, dynamic city, yet we continue to face challenges due to our shared ZIP codes,” said Eastvale Mayor Mike McMinn. “This bill is a crucial step toward securing an independent ZIP code for Eastvale, which would enhance mail delivery, reduce insurance rates, and attract businesses. Recent events, such as the California fires, have also underscored the urgency of this issue, as police and fire personnel sometimes struggle to locate emergencies due to shared ZIP codes with surrounding cities.  We appreciate Congressman Calvert and his colleagues for recognizing the need for this change, not only for Eastvale, but for many cities throughout the country."

Currently, the City of Eastvale is split between two ZIP codes, 91752 and 92880. The 91752 ZIP code is shared between Eastvale and the city of Jurupa Valley. The City of Eastvale was incorporated in 2010 and has a population of approximately 70,000.
