Today, Congressman Calvert announced that more than $67 million for 41st Congressional District water and transportation infrastructure projects was included in the Fiscal Year 2026 Transportation and Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Bill at his request. The Community Project Funding secured by Rep. Calvert for 41st District projects was the highest total among all members in the California House delegation. The bill was approved by the House of Representatives today and now moves to the Senate before heading to the White House for the President’s signature.

The NDAA includes critical national security program authorizations and policy provisions. Rep. Calvert serves as the Chairman of the Defense Appropriations Committee, which provides funding for our national security programs through the defense appropriations bill.
