Today, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-42) announced that the city of Temecula will be receiving a $50 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to improve the Interstate 15 freeway and the French Valley Parkway interchange. Rep. Calvert has advocated for the project, along with the City of Temecula.

"I'm heartened to see that my colleagues on the other side of the aisle - after months of denying a crisis on the border exists – now acknowledge the crisis is real and demands action. The bill approved today provides vital humanitarian assistance, funds ICE, and appropriately funds the Department of Defense for their support efforts.

Today, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-42) launched the new Congressional ALS Caucus along with Representative Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA-01), Representative Jason Crow (D-CO-06), and Representative Terri Sewell (D-AL-07).

The ALS Caucus will bring together members of Congress from both sides of the aisle to share experiences, exchange ideas, and work collaboratively to find a cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The caucus was formed with the help of I AM ALS and many ALS advocacy groups, including The ALS Association and others.
