Corona Real Time Information Center Project

Description: The requested funding will bring the City of Corona into the 21st century with improved policing technology and will be deployed to meet the security needs of the day appropriately.

Requested Amount: $1,545,400

 

Corona Trails Improvement Project

Proposed Recipient: City of Corona

Area Served: Corona

Description: The requested appropriation would fund improvements, amenities, and new trails in the city and along the interface with Cleveland National Forest.

Requested Amount: $1,700,000

 

Cook Street Bridge Project

Proposed Recipient: City of Palm Desert

Description: The requested appropriation would fund the design and engineering of an elevated bridge for Cook Street as it crosses Whitewater Channel.

Requested Amount: $5,000,000

 

Drinking Water Sustainability Project

Proposed Recipient: Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District

Area Served: Wildomar

Description: The requested appropriation would rehabilitate the 40-year-old Corydon Well in the City of Wildomar to benefit 159,000 people and 3,767 institutional, commercial, and industrial users in southwestern Riverside County.  

Requested Amount: $5,000,000

 

Indian Canyon Flood Mitigation Project

Proposed Recipient: Coachella Valley Association of Governments

Area Served: Palm Springs

Description: The requested funding will go towards the design and engineering for bridge construction at Indian Canyon Drive, which would reduce road closures attributed to flooding and blow sands.

Requested Amount: $5,000,000

 

Interstate 10/Singleton Road Interchange Project

Proposed Recipient: City of Calimesa

Description: The requested appropriation will fund the construction of missing ramps, traffic signals, ramp metering, and realignment of an adjacent frontage road to comply with Federal Highway Administration intersection spacing requirements

Requested Amount: $5,000,000

 

Interstate 15 Express Lanes Project Southern Extension Project

Proposed Recipient: Riverside County Transportation Commission

Area Served: Riverside County

Description: The requested funding would help fund preliminary engineering for the I-15 Express Lane Extension Project, which would extend the existing I-15 Express Lanes by an additional 14.5 miles, from Cajalco Road in Corona, through Temescal Valley, to State Route 74/Central Avenue in Lake Elsinore.

Lake Elsinore Water Quality Project

Description: The requested funding will fund the construction of a 3,200 square foot water treatment facility coupled with an education center, aimed at the preservation and education of Lake Elsinore

McCall Boulevard/I-215 Interchange Project

Proposed Recipient: City of Menifee

Description: The requested appropriation would be used for right-of-way acquisition for the McCall Boulevard/I-215 Interchange Project.

Requested Amount: $3,000,000

 

Norco Recycled Water Distribution and Transmission Mainline Project

Proposed Recipient: City of Norco

Recipient Address: 2870 Clark Avenue, Norco, CA 92860

Area Served: Norco

Description: The requested funding would construct a recycled water pipeline to the City of Norco and the nearby Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division to help reduce potable water demand by providing recycled water.

Requested Amount: $2,572,800

 

Palm Springs Airport Bag Claim Lobby Expansion and Renovation Project

Proposed Recipient: City of Palm Springs

Description: The requested funding would be used to renovate and expand the lobby baggage claim area at Palm Springs Airport.

Requested Amount: $2,500,000

 

Quail Valley Septic-to-Sewer Conversion Project

Proposed Recipient: Eastern Municipal Water District

Area Served: Menifee

Description: The requested appropriation will fund the septic-to-sewer conversion project for “subarea 4” (1,400 unit capacity). This project would benefit about 250 low-income families in the area by alleviating water and sewage backup malfunctions and providing a more efficient and reliable sewage system.

Via Vail Roadway Improvement Project

Proposed Recipient: City of Rancho Mirage

Description: The requested funding will provide road infrastructure needed for the development of affordable housing units in Rancho Mirage.

Washington Street Pavement Improvement Project

Description: The requested funding would repave a four-mile stretch of Washington Street, and improve the safety of drivers along a major corridor in La Quinta.

Requested Amount: $3,130,000
