The Leadership amendment would have codified existing National Park Service policy set by the Obama administration. Those Obama administration policies prohibit the sale and display of the Confederate flag on National Park Service properties, except when displayed in a historical or educational context.

"Anything short of prompt, high quality healthcare for our veterans is simply unacceptable to me," said Rep. Calvert. "The funding bill approved by the House today once again provides significant funding for the infrastructure our veterans and active duty military members need and deserve.
