Rep. Calvert Votes to Uphold Commitments to Veterans and U.S. Troops
Today, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-41) voted along with a majority (218 to 206) of the House of Representatives to pass the Fiscal Year 2026 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act.
“It is fitting that the first appropriations bill to come to the House floor this year is one that fulfills one of our highest priorities – honoring our commitments to those who have served or are currently serving in our military,” said Rep. Calvert. “This bill delivers on our promises by fully funding veterans’ health care programs, and fully funding Veterans’ benefits and VA programs. The bill also addresses critical infrastructure needs for our men and women in uniform. We must continue to prioritize critical funding for our veterans and troops.”
