Rep. Calvert Re-Selected to Serve on Steering Committee

Today, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-42) announced he has been re-selected to serve on the House Republican Steering Committee as the Region XII Representative. The Steering Committee is responsible for selecting Republicans for House Committee membership as well as their leadership positions. Their decisions must ultimately be approved by the full Republican Conference. Region XII includes members from the states of California, Nevada, and Alaska, as well as the territory of American Samoa.

"It's an honor to once again be selected by my colleagues to serve on the Steering Committee," said Rep. Calvert. "The Republican Conference is full of incredibly talented, passionate and experienced members. As a member of the Steering Committee, I look forward to helping our Conference advance our policy goals by maximizing the contributions of Republican members on our committees."
