Art Competition

In the spring of every year, the United States House of Representatives hosts a Congressional Art Competition for amateur artists. The competition promotes attention to the arts by recognizing talented young artists from across the nation.

Congressional App Challenge

I am pleased to announce that my office is participating in the 2016 Congressional App Challenge. The Congressional App Challenge is a competition aimed at encouraging U.S. high school students to learn how to code by creating their own applications.

Internships

Congressman Calvert offers unpaid internships to qualified college students and recent graduates. Space in the office is limited to only one or two interns per semester and summer, which makes the application process highly competitive. Applications are accepted year-round; however interested persons should apply as early as possible..
